RECESSIONARY ECONOMICS 81/365

With pay cuts the current standard and pay raises a distant memory, companies are pushing the envelope to find low cost ways to bolster morale and show appreciation to employees. Gumby epitomizes the new found flexibility of the working guy.

Gumby is the new face of "Recessionary Economics," Theme #253 . He bends at will with a smile permanently plastered on his face.

"Oh, oh, Prickle....we're in a pickle!"--Gumby

  3. Great take on the theme! (Good to have humor for such a somber subject.)

I remember Gumby and Pokey figures with moveable limbs when I was a kid. (And I'm NOT saying how long ago that was!)
