WHAT'S INSIDE, 52/365
Our youngest daughter is infanticipating. The brat chose not to learn the sex of the coming baby (thus severely cramping my grandma-ing when it comes to shopping for baby clothes). Now when I stand back and look at her, I am left to wonder "What's Inside," Theme #358.

This photograph is perfect for this theme. My daughter did the same thing. She didn't want yellow so we bought a pink layette and a blue layette and that solved that dilemma!! Oh...I returned the blue layette!!
ReplyDeleteSweet shot and very nice word coining.
ReplyDeleteDon't worry Grandma you'll pay her back for not being your baby anylonger.
ReplyDeletePerfect for the theme! I bet you are excited! When I was expecting the boys I had a high risk pregnancy and they did 8 ultrasounds in which they reported I had girls - what was supposed to come out was Megan and Tori and I came home w/ Ryan & Corey (even had the pink room and everything) OOPS!! sometimes it is better not to know! :) Congrats Grandma!
ReplyDeletelGreat choice for the theme!
ReplyDeleteTammy, I owned a child care business for many years and had a few interviews with couples who were surprised in the delivery room!
ReplyDeleteI would still like to know if I'm sewing for a little girl or a little boy...
Too funny - I was really fine w/ either girl or boy, but since they were "98%" sure I went out and bought tons of girls stuff - it was a real pain returning everything and re doing their room with twins! LOL

Love the shot but have never understood how an expectant mom can contain her curiosity.
ReplyDeleteLove Tammy's story about the Megan and Tori. ;-)
How clever of you to come up with the "What's Inside" theme! Perfect.
ReplyDeleteWhat a cool term--infanticipating! Great shot, what fun anticipating the new arrival!
ReplyDeleteGreat idea for the theme. I am a grandmother, too, and I know how exciting this time is. Whatever comes out will be exactly what you wanted.
ReplyDeleteLOL great for theme and fun story too! I say go with mint green and lavender!
