LOOKING DOWN, 29/365

Filled the feeder, placed my camera on the tripod, sat near an open window until my fingers were numb while I watched the birds and the squirrels come and go. Turns out the photo was below the feeder. An icy, snow covered tail there with the icicles. I should have been "Looking Down," Theme #177.

  1. Clever take on the theme. What a poor cold tail and, I bet, a very cold critter attached!!

  2. Well, look at that! How observant to see the possibilities in a squirrel's tail... I love the icicle and snow in the background. Great shot!

  3. You're right--the sight of just the tail means that poor critter is COLD!

  7. "Accidents" can be a lot of fun. Aren't you glad your camera was pointed a little farther down than you planned!

  8. I love it, so cool and in a nice natural setting. But I bet you were a little chilly. We all need some photographer's gloves I think.
