When I first saw them, the officer was leading his horse down the sidewalk. The two of them just leisurely strolling. A couple of blocks later I encountered them again, this time with the officer riding. It's not often I see a horse and rider meandering along on a sidewalk downtown.
Puts a whole new spin on window shopping, doesn't it?

I love this picture! (Of course, having a horse in it adds points in my book, anyway, but it's a perfect photo for law enforcement!)
