THRILL, THRILLER OR THRILLING, 163/365


I'm not a big fan of HIGH things. Riding the ferris wheel at Navy Pier was going to be more frightening than "Thrilling," Theme #327, in my estimation.

    That is daunting-looking height! Nice composition and red color against the blue sky.

    I love the angle of the shot. It's so much more interesting that it would have been if you'd taken it straight on and captured the whole thing.

    I never knew that I feared heights until I rode the ferris wheel at Navy Pier a few years ago. These giant wheels look so innocuous from the ground but are harrowing to experience.

    This is an excellent shot of it though! ;-)
