A photo of the AOL Welcome screen. Spell Check doesn't catch those "Spelling Errors," Theme #297, that disguise themselves as other words.

  1. That is a daily does that would be really hard to swallow. Great spotting, I'm still looking, it's no fun being in a literate area.

  3. Good catch, that one. There was an internet story that went around a few years ago which seemed to proved that the order of the letters within a word is unimportant as long as the letters are all there. I'll try to include a Snopes.com link here, but not sure if blogger will accept it:

  6. Good catch! I had to read over the text a couple of times to find the error! My Cognitive Psychology professor in college had us read a study on how the brain doesn't process all the letters in words. We just need the basics!

  7. I read ads on movie screens, billboards, store signs, and especially newspapers. I subscribe to our local rag because it gives me so much fun!

Incidentally, I stopped taking the baby aspirin because it was making my blood so thin it letting me bruise in places you wouldn't normally find bruises. Fish oil, too.
