SILHOUETTE, 96/365

Sometimes getting a shot in "Silhouette," Theme #283, says so much about being a seven year old boy. The enthusiasm for the moment mixed with the measured care of negotiating those steps.

--I was waiting below for our daughter and grandson to join us on the canal walk in downtown Indianapolis. I caught Joshua before he saw me as he headed down the steps, bag of bread in hand for the ducks on the canal.--

  2. This is nicely composed. I like the way you can see the steps and you get an idea the boy is on the way somewhere, maybe school, with his sack lunch.

  3. Great shot for this theme, doesn't look posed so that makes it so much better for that.

  7. This is SO nice! Was it staged or were you in the right place at the right time? Makes me wonder about this boy, and what's he'c carrying...

  8. I like this especially because silhouettes are usually still subjects. This one has action and purpose...
