I've put away the intricate and delicate ornaments in favor of the more simple, but totally handmade and memory filled, ornaments our daughters made as children. "Celestial Bodies," Theme #43, are represented by numerous star shaped ornaments, including this one at the top of the tree. I think our youngest daughter was 6 when she made it.
That's what Christmas is about, remembering good times w/ family! What a great star!
ReplyDeleteThat's so interesting - I used our small tree for the RV inside the house this year and used ornaments that my staff and friends made over the years instead of the delicate ones, too! Of course, part of my decision was based on having a new kitten!
