THERE'S NO PLACE LIKE HOME, 224/365

She showed up last night around midnight. Came up out of the woods while we were watching the meteor shower. She rubbed, she talked, she purred. When we went into the house in the wee hours of the day, she was curled up on the mat outside the door. This morning she was still there, peering inside with one paw on the window. She's been loved because she's loving. She's clean, her nails are cut short. She's also very thin and she misses being in a family and I know she's thinking, "There's no place like home," Theme #324.

  7. Oh, gee, this is so sweet - I have a real soft spot for cats, especially b&w ones. Scratch her neck and ears for me.
