My sister and her husband have hosted 2 young men this past year through a student foreign exchange program. These boys have become part of our family and we all gathered to say goodbye to them this past weekend. I noticed a pair of Mauricio's Havaianas sitting by the back door and thought how much my sister will miss seeing his favorite "Footwear," Theme #107, scattered around the house.

ReplyDeleteIt must be hard, after a year of having these two "sons," to have them leave. I love the picture of the flip-flops: looks like he just walked out of them.
