The greatest spectacle in Motor-"Sport," Theme #299, here in miniature form. The 24th running of the Bunker Hill Elementary Mini-500. One hundred and thirty handmade cardboard cars raced around a grass "track" by 130 eager first graders. A look at the field of entries for this year's race.

ReplyDeleteWhat a colorful field! Our DGS is loving race cars...any kind of race cars. Which is a change from his Thomas the Tank Engine. First he branched out into Lightening McQueen then the rest was history....

ReplyDeleteThe kids must have had so much fun not only building the cars (with help!!) but racing in them. This is such a teriffic event and who knows maybe someone in this class might be the next Helio Castroneves!!
